Enjoy the Moment this Holiday Season
This time of year can be really hard for some people. It can become stressful trying to get all the shopping done, wrapping presents, cooking and baking, traveling, preparing for guests, trying not to overindulge on sweet treats, etc… Well, this is your friendly reminder to take a big deep breath and exhale all that stress out.
Enjoy this special time with friends and family because it only comes once a year. Give yourself a break from worrying; don’t stress about making everything perfect. Stress, even short term, increases cortisol levels. Excess cortisol can be damaging to our bodies, especially long term. Try to be present in the moment and be grateful for all the wonderful things in life. Your body, mind and heart will thank you!
